Dr. Terri-Lyn Castillo, Ph.D

Assistant Director

Joined Montessori Children’s Center in February 2018.

  • Credential: American Montessori Society Infant and Toddler Montessori Credential.
  • Education: Holds a a Ph.D in Early Childhood Education from National University. Holds a Master of Early Childhood Education (GCU) and a Master of Education (American Continental University), in addition to a Bachelor of Science (SUNY Empire) and an Associate of Science (SUNY Cobleskill).
  • Certifications: American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR, and NYOCFS-approved MAT certified.
  • Training: Completed the 5-hour Foundations of Health and Safety training (SUNY Albany) and the “In Focus 13-hour Infant and Toddler Symposium” (AMS, Fall 2020). Attended the March 2021 and March 2023 AMS Conferences.
  • Membership: Member of the American Montessori Society.
  • Personal: Mother of child who attends MCC.
