Returned to Montessori Children’s Center as Head Guide when the West Harrison location opened in July 2018.

Ms. Jeanne has been a leading Montessori head teacher since we were at the Montessori Children’s Center at Burke. A beloved member of the MCC community, her dedication to Montessori philosophy and practices, especially the importance of supporting independence in toddlers, is deeply rooted in her years of Montessori experience and training (CMTE/NY).

With her vibrant energy and boundless patience, Ms. Jeanne brings a sense of fun and comfort to the toddler community. Her calm, nurturing demeanor and lifelong love of children make her environment feel like family. Ms. Jeanne’s unique blend of playfulness, deep well of Montessori expertise, and gentle guidance makes her a deeply trusted and beloved anchor for our families.

By giving the children daily routines that support their sense of trust and feelings of security, along with “just enough help,” she brings calm, patience, and joy to the daily lives of the toddlers in her care, as one by one, each toddler discovers: “I can do it!”

• Credential: American Montessori Society Infant and Toddler Montessori Credential (CMTE/NY).
• Certifications: CPR (Infant and Child) certified, NYOCFS-approved MAT certified, and Red Cross-certified Child-Infant CPR and Pediatric First Aid.
• Training: 5-hour Foundations of Health and Safety training (SUNY Albany) “In Focus 13-hour Infant and Toddler Symposium” (AMS, Fall 2020). March 2021 and March 2023 AMS Conferences, plus March 2025 and March 2026 AMS Learning professional development.
• Membership: Member of the American Montessori Society.
